  1. Hi Daniel!
I just wanted to let you know that your GPS account online is deleting your earlier "footsteps"; it only allows you to record your last 13 stops. I don't know if this will affect your travels or not, but I figured I'd say something.
It's really cool to be able to see where you've been and how far you've gone. The first thing my family asks when I open your blog is, "Where's Daniel now?"
    We're praying for you!

    1. Ah yes... this I know. Thanks for the reminder. I knew that would be happening at some point. I guess the good news is that it means progress is being made. I will look into it to see if I have the ability to hold those previous points in the history. Thanks again and God Bless!

  2. Hi Dan,
Thanks for keeping us updated. I've been enjoying seeing your progress on the map as well. It turns out your really near a favorite "secret" spot of mine. The GPS coordinates are (44.33672, -120.13877). I just love Big Summit Prairie. It's a part of Oregon even most Oregonians don't know about. Hope you're enjoying the view.

    1. I'll have to look into this 'secret' spot. There are some amazing places out there, that's for sure!

    1. Yes. Maybe not so easy for all those back in Minnesota. It sure is something!

  4. Beautiful pics, Daniel! Marcus still wants to join you on your walk. Wish I was with you too, after seeing some of that beautiful landscape.

  5. Daniel, your mother just emailed me info about your adventure. I had not heard anything from Grandpa Eugene Fink about it. We have a prayer group that has been going on for about 30 years and it is dwindling down to only 5 persons left. I will get them infront of my computer and show them what you are up to. In actual fact, this is all new to me and I'm confused how to use this new Google+ stuff. I got to study it some more.
Great-grandpa Jim Fink PS I worked in Idaho & Montana Look for Spotted Bear Ranger Station. We did a hydro plant there.

    1. Hi Jim,
Welcome to the journey! I'll keep my eyes open for that Spotted Bear Ranger Station. It's beautiful out here. That sounds like a great and faithful prayer group you're involved in. I hope they enjoy checking in on this journey too.
      God bless!
